We’re delighted with the refurbishment of six of rooms on the first floor of our historic Inn here near Salisbury, and the award of 4* rating from both the AA and Visit Britain. Each of the new rooms is named after a ‘local’ area eg. “The Grovely” which has a 4 poster bed. Our new rooms come with pocket sprung mattresses on the beds to give you the very best night’s sleep and a luxury fully- tiled shower room.

We offer a choice of twin, double & family rooms, all with views of the River Wylye and surrounding countryside. Single occupancy is available as well. Our Family room can sleep up to 4 people and a baby’s cot is available. All rooms have triple glazing as the swans in the River Wylye can be a little noisy!! Click here for pictures

We have fishing rights for our guests to enjoy our own stretch of the River Wylye, with the assistance of a local guide if required. Cyclists may leave their bikes in our lock-up garage.
Also available on request are packed lunches or picnic baskets so you can enjoy the local attractions.
